An informal event, as part of the South Asian Heritage Month, Free to be Me: Breaking Barriers and Talking Taboo taking place on Wednesday, 14th August 2024, Lisvane, Cardiff 7:00pm – 9:00pm. Please come along for a casual meet up, exploring issues from a South Asian perspective and comparing it with other communities. This is for women only, thanks. The many topics of discussion will be concerning achieving expectations: Cultural Pressures and the Weight of traditions, marriage, the big fat family and its dynamics on our psychology, identity and well-being and finally, mental health – silence and stigmas.
