The Event Organiser role is to plan, organise, and execute events that support the organisation’s mission and objectives. This role is essential in creating impactful and engaging events that raise awareness and foster community engagement. What will you be doing?

  • To support the community events and activities, liaising with community leads, attending relevant meetings, collating information.
  • To give relevant input in meetings, making informed decisions on logistics such as venues, stage set up, dates, times, invitees and catering
  • To contribute to any post-event evaluation, outlining successes and any lessons learned for improvement
  • To ensure progress and updates are fed back to The Mentor Ring
  • Creating marketing materials and giving input on publicity for the event and distributing materials through the appropriate channels including Social Media.
  • Attending and assisting in the co-ordination of the event.
  • To contribute to any post-event evaluation, outlining successes and any lessons learned for improvement.

 

    Experience:

    • DBS Check required.
    • Experience of working with diverse individuals and communities. (Optional)
    • Good communication skills
    • Self- Motivated and Good Interpersonal Skills
    • Creative
    • Outgoing

    How we will support you?

    • Full training is given for this role.
    • Expenses are fully reimbursed on a monthly basis.
    • Volunteers are given an induction upon beginning their role.

    • Monday – Friday (Flexible).
    •  Flexible 2 hours per week.
