For the first time as monarch, His Majesty King Charles III and the Queen Consort Camilla visited Cardiff on Friday 16th September. In honour of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, a service of prayer and reflection was held at Llandaff Cathedral. Along with other representatives from third sector organisations, Sujatha Thaladi, the CEO of The Mentor Ring was also invited to be part of the congregation. Also invited to the service were Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of South Glamorgan Morfudd Meredith, Lord Mayor of Cardiff Councillor Graham Hinchey, Chief Constable of South Wales Police Jeremy Vaughan and Prime Minister Liz Truss. A multi-faith service was led by the Archbishop of Wales, the Most Revd Andrew John with other faith leaders reading prayers.
