 Purpose of this role:

The Social Media Volunteer is responsible for enhancing our organisation’s digital footprint. You’ll help us bridge the gap between our mission and our community by creating engaging content that shines a spotlight on our year-round events and projects. This is a vital role for someone who wants to build a brand’s presence while making a real-world impact.By strategically managing our platforms, you will promote our year-round activities and foster meaningful engagement with our community.

We aim to assist with transition into civilian life, integration into the civilian community, re- training and education and matters concerning mental health, resilience and wellbeing. Veterans are encouraged to get in touch about all of our volunteer roles and opportunities.

 

 

What will you be doing?

 

      • Design and post compelling content across our social media platforms such as scheduling posts on Facebook for instance. 
      • Promote: Drive attendance and awareness for our various events and activities.

      • Engage: Spark conversations and build relationships with our online community.

      • Building a strong web presence and producing fresh and engaging topics

      • Content using our website, Facebook, Instagram, X and BlueSky accounts.

Experience:

  • Experience of utilising social media apps
  • Good communication skills
  • Organised  and Self- Motivated
  • Flexible with time
  • Outgoing

 

 How we will support you?

  • Full training is given for this role.
  • Expenses are fully reimbursed on a monthly basis.
  • Volunteers are given an induction upon beginning their role.
  • DBS Check required.

 

 

 

Time and Place:

  • Monday – Friday (Flexible).
  •  Flexible 2 hours per week.
  • Hours to suit volunteer
  • Remote / office
  • TMR Office, 2nd floor, Butetown Community Centre, Butetown , Cardiff CF10 5JA
