Volunteer Social Media Role, South Wales, Cardiff

 Purpose of this role:

We organise events and activities throughout the year and regularly post our activities on social media. The Social media volunteer is to enhance the organisation’s online presence, engage with the community, and promote the organisation’s events and activities through various social media platforms. This role is essential in building awareness and fostering engagement of the organisation’s projects.

What will you be doing?

      • Copywriting and creating content for a variety of social media platforms such as scheduling posts on Facebook.
      • Building a strong web presence and producing fresh and engaging topics
      • Content using our website, Facebook, Instagram, X and BlueSky accounts.

    Experience:

     

    • Experience of utilising social media apps
    • Good communication skills
    • Organised  and Self- Motivated
    • Flexible with time 
    • Outgoing

    How we will support you?

    • Full training is given for this role.
    • Expenses are fully reimbursed on a monthly basis.
    • Volunteers are given an induction upon beginning their role.
    • DBS Check required.

    Time and Place:

    • Monday – Friday (Flexible).
    • Butetown Community Centre, Butetown , Cardiff CF10 5JA
    •  Flexible 2 hours per week.
    • Hours to suit volunteer
    • Remote / office
