The Mentor Ring

World Mental Health Day takes place on Thursday 10th October 2024.

Come along and learn the basics of the English Language by an Arabic speaking English tutor, at the Butetown Community Centre, Butetown, 1st floor, Cardiff, CF10 5JA every Monday afternoon 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm. These sessions will commence on Monday, 14th October on the 1st floor, Cardiff.

The MEC Health Fair Volunteer Training will take place the day before the actual event, to become familiar with the sources of information and the venue, the Cardiff City Stadium, Leckwith, which they will visit afterwards, on Tuesday 15th October 2024, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, at the Butetown Community Centre, Butetown, CF10 5JA, Cardiff, the ground floor.

The Minority Ethnic Communities (MEC) Health Fair 2024 will be held at Cardiff City Stadium (Leckwith Road, Cardiff CF11 8AZ ) on Wednesday 16th October 2024, from 10am – 3pm. The theme this year is 'Building Healthy Communities: embracing self-care and achieving health equity'.
The aims are to provide accessible health & wellbeing information and health checks to members of Cardiff’s ethnically diverse population. This event is to help individuals from different ethnic backgrounds become more aware of their own health needs and to enable health providers to improve their understanding of the community health issues.

Come along and join our informal group to meet new friends, disucuss topics of interest, and play friendly games on coffee mornings every Tuesday Morning, 22nd October, at the TMR Office, 2nd Floor at the Butetown Community Centre, Cardiff, CF10 5JA. Coffee mornings 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM.
