Foot care (Podiatry) Education

This project took the STANCE diabetes foot education and adapted it to be delivered to the BAME community in South East cluster of CAV UHB as well as with special emphasis to patients with Diabetes. The Mentor Ring had offered one to one mentoring for high risk patients with diabetes.

We had brought specialized foot care education to our local community! By adapting the proven STANCE model, this project had provided culturally tailored diabetes education specifically for Minority Ethnic Communities patients within the South East Cardiff area. Our goal was to reduce health inequalities by making expert advice easy to understand and act upon.
