Conversational English classes for non – English speakers to help them overcome significant barriers to social inclusion. The English lessons for this academic year will resume on Monday 5th January 2026 from 12 pm – 1:30 pm at the Butetown Community Centre, First Floor, Butetown, CF10 5JA, Cardiff, after the Christmas and New Year break.
Please note that our English Conversational classes will be taking a scheduled break from the middle of February 16th (next week Monday) through middle of March 18th in observance of Ramadan. We understand this is a significant time for many of our students and staff. We wish all those participating a peaceful and blessed month, and we look forward to seeing everyone back in class once the break concludes.
The Mentor Ring takes great pride in the commitment and consistency shown by our learners and in the significant progress they have made over the years. It is particularly rewarding to see participants remain dedicated to learning and continuously improving their skills. While learning remains our core focus, we also place strong value on celebration and community. Throughout the year, we mark occasions such as Eid and end-of-year celebrations, where learners come together to share food from different cultures and enjoy time socialising, strengthening bonds within the group.
