The aims of the 2025 MEC Health Fair is to help individuals from different ethnic backgrounds become more aware of their own health needs and to enable health providers to improve their understanding of community health issues.
This is to enable members of South Wales diverse minority ethnic communities to have access to appropriate information with regard to their health & wellbeing, to provide an opportunity for the voluntary, statutory (& public) health sector to promote initiatives and services to the events’ target communities. Furthermore it will provide opportunities for individuals to be tested for conditions that disproportionately affect the events’ target communities.
The MEC Health Fair 2025 was held at Fitzalan High School Cardiff Leckwith Rd, CF11 8AP Wednesday 29th October, 10am – 3pm. The theme at this year’s Health Fair was Celebrating Diversity in Health Care.
